Priced in pips — the fourth decimal on most pairs, the second on yen pairs.
Markets
Forex
The market where one currency is priced against another — the deepest and most continuously traded market in the world.
What you'll learn
Forex
A currency pair quotes how much of the second currency one unit of the first is worth. Buying EUR/USD is a position that the euro will strengthen against the dollar; selling it is the opposite view. We teach you to read the pair, the pip and the spread before you place a single practice trade.
CFDs are explained here for education: you take a position on the price, you never own the underlying asset.
Traded around the clock on weekdays as the Sydney, Tokyo, London and New York sessions hand over.
Leverage varies by broker and by country of residence — we teach you how to calculate it either way.

How we teach it
You'll practise majors, minors and crosses on the same MetaTrader 5 terminal a working trader uses, with the order types, charting and automation the platform ships with.

When this market is open
Our published session times for this market: [TRADING HOURS]. Sessions move with daylight saving, and an instrument can pause when its underlying market is closed.
What a trade costs
Every market is taught the same way: one all-in spread, or a tighter spread with a fixed commission per lot, whichever your chosen broker offers. We teach you to read the difference, not to pay us either one.
